If your device is already rooted, you can install and utilize it directly. However, if there is no root access, enabling Ice Box will involve intricate operations. Please carefully read the full description before making a decision.

To set up Ice Box without root access, please visit: Non Root Setup. After setting up with the help of a computer, Ice Box will grant the "Device Owner" permission to freeze or defrost apps. Manually granting "Device Administrator" permission on the phone will not work. If you no longer wish to use IceBox, you can uninstall it anytime through its settings.

Ice Box is designed as a storage space to freeze and conceal the apps that you rarely use. Apps stored in the box will be hidden from your launcher and will not drain your battery or use cellular data in the background. You can easily launch them from Ice Box, similar to launching from a home screen folder. The apps will be automatically frozen after the screen locks or when you return to the launcher, preventing any background activity.
